Amazon.com (AMZN) is recently up 5.8% in pre-open trading after the online retailer reported a decrease in Q2 profits to $191M from $207M, but topped market expectations for earnings and revenue. Overall option implied volatility of 38 is above its 26-week average of 34.
Dow Chemical (DOW) is recently up 2.2% in pre-open trading on better than expected profit, revenue and volume growth. Dow overall option implied volatility of 30 is near its 26-week average.
