Yahoo (YHOO) is recently down 4.5% to $15.80 on reports the company is considering selling its Asian assets and redistributing the proceeds to shareholder rather than selling itself. November and December put option implied volatility of 55 is above its 26-week average of 45.
Shaw Group (SHAW) is recently up 3.6% following a larger then expected Q4 loss. November call option implied volatility is at 44, January is at 38; compared to its 26-week average of 42.
NPS Pharmaceuticals (NPSP) is recently down 30% to $5.44 after patients in trial developed cancer. November put option implied volatility is at 128, December is at 105; above its 26-week average of 67.
CBOE Interest Rate 5 year T Note (FVX) is down 8% to $10.29; above its 50-day MA of 9.69 into this week’s Fed meeting, G-20 gathering and October employment report.
