US Stock futures point to a lower opening, 1 1/2%. Some are pointing to the Deficit Commission not being able to come to an agreement this week, but is anyone really surprised? Looks like a combination of that, the continued uncertainty in Europe and profitaking.
VIX starts the week at 32.00. Thursday a holiday and Friday a half-day of trading. Lighter volume can sometimes lead to choppier markets. 10-year bond at 2%.
