Reliance Steel (RS) is recently up $2.32 to $54.39 on the company seeing Q1 EPS approximately $1.50, compared to consensus $1.29. May and June call option implied volatility of 35 is below its 26-week average of 43.
Mattel (MAT) is recently up down $3.11 to $31.02 after reporting Q1 EPS 2c, consensus 7c. May and July call option implied volatility of 23 is below its 26-week average of 30.
American Express (AXP) is recently 61c to $57.89 after announcing March 30 days past due loans were 1.3% compared to 1.4% last month. Overall option implied volatility of 26 is below its 26-week average of 33.
VIX methodology for Apple (VXAPL) up 6.4% to 47.70; above 10-day MA of 40.39 as shares trade below $585.
VIX methodology for Goldman Sachs (VXGS) +1.4 to 38.37, above its 50-day MA of 34.79 into the release of Q1 results on April 17.
CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) is recently down 43c to 19.13, above its 10-day moving average of 17.98, 50-day moving average is 17.34.
