Human Genome (HGSI) is recently up 62c to $14.20 after GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) announced the purchase of the company for $14.25 per share. August call option implied volatility is at 6; below its 26-week average of 71.
MasterCard (MA) is recently up $7.17 to $436.77 following merchants reaching a $7.25B settlement with the company, Visa (V) and major U.S. banks. August call option implied volatility of 32, October is at 27; compared to its 26-week average of 28.
Gannett (GCI) is recently up 35c to $14.66 after reporting Q2 EPS 56c, consensus 52c. August call option implied volatility is at 31, October and January is at 34; compared to its 26-week average of 37.

U.S. equities are off their lows of the day on weak retail sales as U.S. Treasuries trade a fresh record high.
CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) is recently up 20c to 16.94. VIX is trading below its 10-day moving average of 17.46 and below its 50-day MA of 20.58.
