Apple (AAPL) set a new record high of $664.90. August weekly call option implied volatility is at 30, September is at 24, October is at 26 compared to its 26-week average of 31. August 660 and 665 calls area active on total CBOE volume of 300K contracts.
Aetna (AET) is recently up $1.73 to $39.73 on the acquisition of Coventry Health Care (CVH) in a transaction valued at $7.3B, including the assumption of Coventry debt. Aetna September and October option implied volatility is at 25, October is at 28; compared to its 26-week average of 27.
S&P 100 Options (OEX) is recently down 68c to 650.90.
