Sprint (S) is recently up 26c to $5.29 after announcing earlier today that it’s building a 4G LTE networks in more than 100 additional cities within its existing nationwide 3G footprint. Overall option implied volatility of 52 is near its 26-week average of 54.
Titan Machinery’s (TITN) is recently down $5.73 to $19.62 after the company reported Q2 profits decreased 17%. September put option implied volatility is at 62, October and December is at 60; compared to its 26-week average of 55.
SPXpm electronically-traded S&P 500 Index options (SPXpm) are recently down 85c to 1437.05 into the Thursday’s Fed meeting results.
CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) is recently up 39c to 14.77 on active October 28 and 40 calls volume of are active on total option volume of 300K contacts at the CBOE.
