VIX methodology for Apple (VXAPL) is recently down 88c to 30.29. iPhone 5 weighs 112 grams, 20% lighter than the iPhone 4S.
 
Research In Motion (RIMM) is recently 1c to $7.47. Overall option implied volatility of 68 is near its 26-week average.
 
Nokia (NOK) is recently up 3c to $2.83. Overall option implied volatility of 83 is above its 26-week average of 76.

U.S. stocks are mixed to higher as European equity markets rallied after the German Federal Constitutional Court backed permanent rescue funds with liability caps.
