On the business channels it sounds like they’ve already started running for the 2014 election. Part of yesterday’s rally might have been based on incorrect stories about the potential winner of the Ohio race.
S&P Futures are off 10.80. Mario Draghi talking about the drop in the German economy, coupled with problems in Greece unnerved markets here and in Europe.
KRFT up $0.68 after reporting earnings of $0.79, higher than the $0.70 expected. Macy’s (M) Q3 beat by $0.06, is higher in pre-market by $0.40. TWX up a few pennies – bottom line was better but revenues less than expected. AAPL off $7 at $573.20, unable to crawl above 200 day MA near $589.
10-year down to a 1.65% yield. Crude lower by 1.75%, Gold and Silver higher. UAL and AA cutting flights to NY with pending winter storm arriving tonight. This may curtail some late-day volume today.
