Verizon (VZ) is recently up 25c to $42.85 after the company says its wireless network is virtually back to normal following Hurricane Sandy. Overall option implied volatility of 20 is above its 26-week average of 17.

Zipcar (ZIP) is recently up $1.49 to $7.53 after reporting Q3 EPS of 10c on better than expected revenue of $78.2M. December and February call option implied volatility of 55 is above its 26-week average of 49.

Energizer (ENR) is recently trading up $5.26 to $76.05 on Q4 earnings more than doubling. December call option implied volatility is at 24, February is at 27; compared to its 26-week average of 25.

CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) is recently down 4.3% to 17.69. VIX November 17 and 20 calls are active on total option volume of 119K contacts at the CBOE.

S&P 100 Options (OEX) is recently up 6.42 to $634.96 on positive economic data.
