Huntsman Corp. (HUN) closed at $19.07 as the Utah based chemical company reported Q4 EPS of $0.24, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.62 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.49 billion. Overall option implied volatility of 40 is near its 26-week average of 38.
CBOE Volatility Index-VIX closed at 12.94, below its 10-day moving average of 13.60, and its 50-day moving average of 15.11.
SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) is unchanged at 151.77 in the premarket as Japan stocks rally and German stocks trade mixed.
