Blogging Options: CBOE Afternoon Update

Rackspace (RAX) is down $14 to $60.98 after the data-center company missed on its Q4 revenue. February call option implied volatility is at 48 March and June is at 36; compared to its 26-week average of 42.

Buffalo Wild Wings (BWLD) is off $4.06 to $77.00 on Q4 profits rising 22% as the company said sales in current quarter are declining as chicken wing prices increase. February and March call option implied volatility is at 36 June is at 31; compared to its 26-week average of 36.

Netgear (NTGR) is down $3.32 to $33.18 after the company warned of lower Q1 revenue. March and June call option implied volatility of 34 is below its 26-week average of 36.

S&P 100 Options (OEX) is off 1.00 to 683.35 after President Obama laid out his second-term agenda in his State of the Union speech and in line retail sales figures for January, which showed a 0.1% increase, in line with expectations.
