Monsanto (MON) is recently up $4.39 to $106.09 on China approving three new varieties of genetically-modified soy from Brazil, including Monsanto’s Intacta RR2, Reuter’s reports, citing comments from Brazil’s agriculture ministry. June and July call option implied volatility is at 24, October is at 23; compared to its 26-week average of 23.

Facebook (FB) is recently up $1.13 to $24.43 after Stifel upgraded the social portal with a $29 price target citing near-term catalysts and its belief that shares have bottomed. The firm sees potential catalysts from inclusion in the S&P 500 Index, enthusiasm over back-to-school, and the monetization of Instagram.  June weekly call option implied volatility is at 41, June is at 34, July is at 33, August is at 39, December is at 37; below its 26-week average of 44.
