Arkansas Best (ABFS) is recently up $2.23 to $22.21 after ABF Freight System employees represented by Teamsters ratify five-year national labor agreement. July call option implied volatility is at 58, August is at 61, December is at 55; compared to its 26-week average of 57.

Arch Coal (ACI) is recently up 18c to $3.78 after the coal miner announcing the sale of non-core Utah operations to Bowie Resources for $435M. Overall option implied volatility of 72 is near its 26-week average of 73.

Biogen (BIIB) is recently up $9.99 to $218.80 on rising hope for the company’s new multiple sclerosis drug.  Overall option implied volatility of 34 is above its 26-week average of 30.

CBOE Interest Rate 5 Year Note (FVX) is recently up 2.5% to 14.25; above its 50-day moving average of 9.55.

CBOE 30-Year Treasury Bond (TYX) is recently down 0.1% to 35.45; above its 50-day moving average of 31.92.

CBOE Gold ETF Volatility Index (GVZ) is recently down 5.8% to $31.54 as gold trades up 0.67%‏ to $1219.

VIX methodology for iShares Silver Trust (VXSLV) is recently down 6.5% to 44.77; above its 50-day moving average of 37.53.

CBOE VIX methodology for Market Vectors Gold Miners Fund (VXGDX) is recently down 4.8% to 50.54, above its 50-day moving average of 43.36.
