Dow Chemical (DOW) is recently up $1.60 to $44.66 after reporting Q4 profits and revenue that both exceeded analysts’ consensus estimates. February call option implied volatility is at 26, March at 24, June is at 24; compared to its 26-week average of 27
Du Pont, (DD) is recently up $1.41 to $60.98 after reported stronger than expected results yesterday morning and announced its own $5B share repurchase program. February call option implied volatility is at 20, March at 19, July is at 18; compared to its 26-week average of 19.
Facebook (FB) January weekly 55 straddle priced for 10.7% move into Q4.
