With the temperature in Chicago warming up to 21° this afternoon after 3″ of snow last night, I was thinking… what is the temperature in Bonita Springs Florida, and what will it be from March 17th – 19th? It is currently 82° in Bonita and the expected range in mid-March is a high of 81° and a low of 58°.
Why the curiosity about the weather in Florida in two weeks? That’s the location and dates for the 30th annual CBOE Risk Management Conference (RMC). RMC is the premiere financial industry event geared to institutional users of options and volatility products, and is hosted by the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE).
Our scheduled speakers and the topics to be covered in the presentations could be the best we’ve had yet.
Russell Rhoads and Matt Moran will be tweeting and blogging live from RMC, and CBOETV will be posting short videos from the event. So if your schedule does not allow you attend, you’ll be able to follow the goings on closely.
A link to the agenda and a link to register for RMC are posted below. I’m not sure about this, but I think the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita has a no-snow shovel policy in effect. Attendees from northern U.S. cities might be surprised to see a bright disc in the sky, it’s called the Sun. Great speakers and topics, networking and warm weather. Time is running out, hit the link below.
