Amazon.com (AMZN) is down $17.26 to $319.80 in the premarket after reporting Q1 earnings that were in-line with expectations on revenues that topped estimates. The company also provided Q2 revenue outlook that was in-line with expectations. April weekly call option implied volatility is at 121, May is at 39, June is at 33, July is at 31; compared to its 26-week average of 28.

Microsoft (MSFT) is up 0.59 to $40.45 after reporting earnings that beat expectations on revenues that were roughly in-line with estimates. The company sold 1.2M Xbox One units during the quarter and said Windows volume licensing revenue grew 11%.  April weekly call option implied volatility is at 59, May is at 23, June is at 20, July and October is at 19; compared to 26-week average of 23.

Starbucks (SBUX) is up $1.09 to $72.18 in the premarket after reporting profit that in-line with estimates and reaffirming its fiscal 2014 revenue outlook and said it expects same-store sales growth for 2014 to be in the mid-single digits.  April call option implied volatility is at 83, May is at 27, June is at 24, July is at 22; compared to its 26-week average of 23.

SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) is down 0.59 to $187.24 after S&P reduced Russia’s rating by a notch to BBB-, or one grade above junk level, and kept the country’s outlook at negative as the tensions with Ukraine continue to ratchet up.
